Tregoose nestles alongside the upper reaches of the Helford River, close to Frenchman's Creek, Gweek, Port Navas & Gillian.
South-facing, our farm commands view across the Lizard Peninsula. On a clear day you can see from Helston in the West, across to the world-famous satellites at Goonhilly, through to St Keverne, then stretching back to Mawgan, Gweek and Constantine in the East.
Our family have farmed, fished and mined in Cornwall for over 800 years.
Our forebears have bred farm animals for much of that time and are recorded as having actively shown cattle, pigs and horses since the early 19th Century at agricultural shows such as the Royal Cornwall and Devon County.
We first offered bed and breakfast accommodation to holidaymakers shortly after the end of the Great War.
We are proud to be continuing those traditions.
Today Tregoose breeds pedigree South Devon cattle, grows a variety of vegetables and offers a range of accommodation from traditional granite holiday cottages throught to utterly luxurious safari tents complete with campaign style furniture.
